Obituary of Mary B. Hayes

OBITUARY Mary B. Hayes age 85 of Fair Lawn died Wednesday. Born in Paterson, NJ she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Fair Lawn. She was a Teacher for 18 years then a College Counselor for Eastside High School, Paterson before retiring. She had her Doctorate Equivalency from Seton Hall University and her Masters from Montclair State College in English and Social Economics minoring in History. She received her B.A. degree from Montclair State College. She was a member of the NJEA and a member of the Chaucer Guild. Miss Hayes was a parishioner of St. Marys R.C. Church, Paterson for 60 years. Preceeding her in death were: 2 sisters: Alice Tintle Cecelia Michaelson Survivors include: A sister: Catherine Holster of Ramsey, NJ Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
