Jeffery, Josephine K. Jo (nee Azzarella) of Paterson at rest in Wayne on November 20, 2004. Beloved wife of the late John J. Jeffery. Sister of Sadie Scavone and James Azzarella. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Stephens R.C. (nee Azzarella) Jeffery age 88 of Paterson died Saturday. Born in Washingtonville, N.Y. she lived in Paterson for most of her life. She was the Head of the Charter Office for N.J. Transit, Port Authority, New York City for 28 years before retiring in 1978. She was a parishioner of St. Stephens R.C. Church, Paterson and a member of its Leisure Club. Preceeding her in death was: Her husband, John J. Jeffery Survivors include: A sister: Sadie Scavone of Totowa, N.J. A brother: James Azzarella of Fla.
