Negrotto, Josephine D. (nee Di Loreto) of Paterson at rest in Paterson on October 8, 2004. Beloved wife of the late John A. Negrotto. Mother of Fr. John J. Negrotto (Interim Priest of St. Peters, Essex Fells, NJ). Mother in law of Susan Negrotto. Grandmother of Kristen Negrotto and John T. Negrotto. Aunt of Henrietta De Paolo and Jean Veltri. Sister of the late Mary and Benedict De Loreto. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson on Tuesday at 10:30 AM (Please meet directly at the church). Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gerard R.C. OBITUARY
Josephine D.(nee Di Loreto) Negrotto age 89 of Paterson died Friday. Born in Paterson, NJ she lived lifelong in Paterson. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Negrotto was a founding member and parishioner of St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson. She was the first President and organizer of the Rosary Altar Confraternity. She was the past Vice President and Corresponding Secretary of St. Gerards Senior Citizens Club. She was a parish representative to the National Council of Catholic Women for 35 years and attended the National Convention as a Voting Delegate. She was the Past President, Director at Large, Church and Organization Chairman of the Paterson Hawthorne Council of the National Council of Catholic Women. She was the former treasurer on the Paterson Diocesan Council. Mrs. Negrotto was a volunteer and did office help for the WIC program in Paterson. She was also a volunteer at St. Josephs Hospital, Paterson.
