Sahid, John J. of Totowa at rest in Wayne on November 27, 2003. Beloved husband of the former Frances Coury. Father of John R. Sahid, Loraine Kosch, Nancy Ekroth and Carol Thomas. Grandfather of Lisa Vallano, Michele Kosch, Melissa Harrell, Cheryl Thomas, John M. Sahid, Jeffrey Sahid and Michael Sahid. Great grandfather of Alex Harrell and Anthony and Ashley Vallano. Pre-deceased by 3 brothers, Ozzie, Joseph and Harry Sahid, and a sister Margaret Sahid. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM. For more information go to www.festamemorial.com OBITUARY John J. Sahid age 86 of Totowa died Thursday. Born in Paterson, NJ he was raised in Clifton before moving to Totowa 48 years ago. He was a Machinist for Curtiss-Wright, Woodridge, N.J. for 34 years and Singer Kearfott, West Paterson for 3 years before retiring in 1980. Mr. Sahid was a member of the Knights Of Columbus and the Retirees of Curtiss-Wright. He was a veteran of the Army.
