Pantano, William J. of Cedar Grove at rest in Wayne on January 25, 2006. Beloved husband of 65 years of Louise M. (nee Salzano). Dear father of Veronica Corrado and her husband, Pat. Brother of Fannie Salzano. Grandfather of Dr. Paul Bisio and his wife, Susan and Lisa V. Judge and her husband, Michael. Graet grandfather of Ryan and Kate Bisio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Pantano age 93 of Cedar Grove died Wednesday. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson for most of his life before moving to Cedar Grove in 1999. He was a Mathematics Teacher for Glen Rock High School, Glen Rock, NJ for over 40 years before retiring in 1980. He and his family owned Pantanos Dairy, Paterson for more than 50 years. Mr. Pantano graduated from St. Bonaventure University in Olean NY with BS Degree in 1932. He then graduated from Columbia University with a MA Degree in 1955. He was a member of the Bergen County Education Association and the New Jersey Education Association. Survivors include his wife: The former Louise M. Salzano of Cedar Grove, NJ A daughter: Veronica Corrado and her husband, Pat of Cedar Grove, NJ A sister: Fannie Salzano of Lake Hopatcong, NJ Also survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
