Ciongoli, Salvatore of Montville, formerly of Paterson at rest in Denville on December 28, 2003. Beloved husband of Millie (nee Rusciano). Father of Bernard M. Ciongoli and Barbara Firrincili. Father in law of Lorraine Ciongoli and George Firrincili. Brother of Michael Joseph Ciongoli, Carmella Gambatese, Viola Sweeney and the late John Ciongoli. Grandfather of Lauren and Dana Firrincili, Melissa and Bernard C. Ciongoli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 12:00 PM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson, would be appreciated. OBITUARY Salvatore Ciongoli, age 84 of Montville, died Sunday at St. Claire's Hospital, Denville. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life before moving to Montville 15 years ago. He was a Textile Chemist for Brook Chemical Co., Clifton for 25 years, then for Trio Dye and Finishing Co., Paterson before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson and a member of its Senior Citizens Club. He was a member of the Montville Senior Citizens Club, and was a volunteer for the Montville Senior Nutrition Program.
