Father of Robert Fleming, Michael Fleming, James Fleming, Jane Fleming, Eleanor Di Fidi and Adele Fleming. Grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 5. Born in Paterson, NJ he was a lifelong resident of the city. He was the Assistant Fire Chief for the Paterson Fire Department, Paterson, NJ. for 34 years retiring in 1977. Mr. Fleming was a Parishioner of St. Marys R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. He was a member of the Paterson FMBA, Local #2, Paterson. He was also a member of the NJ State FMBA. Preceeding him in death was his wife: Adele Cowan Survivors include: 3 sons: Robert Fleming of Oak Ridge, NJ. Michael Fleming of Oak Ridge, NJ. James Fleming of Stockholm, NJ. 3 daughters: Jane Fleming of Paterson, NJ. Eleanor Di Fidi of West Milford, NJ. Adele Fleming of Pompton Plains, Pequannock Twsp. NJ. Also surviving are 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
