Mitchell, Raymond J.of Clifton at rest in Passaic on June 28, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee Goeghan). Father of William R. Mitchell and Robert W. Mitchell. Brother of Billy Mitchell, Ralph Mitchell, Leo Mitchell, Tippy Mitchell, Edward Mitchell, and Rosemary (Babe) Morey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson before moving to Clifton 50 years ago. He was a Printer for Forms East Inc., Franklin Lakes, NJ for many years before retiring in 1999. Mr. Mitchell was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton, NJ. He was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post # 7165, Valley Rd., Clifton, NJ and he was a member of the Clifton Seniors. Preceeding him in death was his wife: Catherine Ann (nee Geoghan) Mitchell Survivors include 2 sons: William R. Mitchell of Clifton, NJ, Robert W. Mitchell of Lexington, KY A sister: Rosemary (Babe) Morey of Elmwood Park, NJ 5 brothers: Billy Mitchell of Saddle Brook, NJ, Ralph Mitchell of Lodi, NJ, Leo Mitchell of Toms River, NJ, Tippy Mitchell of Toms River, NJ, Edward Mitchell of Key West, FL Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
