Father of Keith Schaffer, and his wife, Tamara, Roger Schaffer and his wife, Stella, and Jacqueline Bachem and her husband, Peter. Step father of Kimberly Delgado and her husband, Milton. Brother of Harold Schaffer and his wife, Marge. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Schaffer age 68 of Totowa died Sunday. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Totowa his entire life. He was a retired in 2003 as a Captain for Totowa Boro Police Department, working there for 39 years. Mr. Schaffer was a member of the Honor Legion. He was a member of the Totowa PBA, Local #80, and received a Valor Award from the NJ State PBA. He was an army veteran.
