My deepest sympathy to the Anastos family, dear
Gregory, Van, Chris and
Joni and the extended love ones. I know Alice will be greatly missed, by
me as well. Alice played
such a big part in my childhood as she was my
mother's dearest friend.
They have been through
so much together and there for each other for so
many years. Alice had a
way that you couldn't help
but love her. She was witty, and generous and
kind to a fault. I have so
many memories of her but one that stands out was when we were young
and she drove us to school. Here was this tiny
woman with this car that
was a block long. She didn't care, she just piled
us all in and off we went.
She taught me how to make Greek cookies, and
how to swear in Greek and when she and Julie
got together you could always hear the laughter.
She was one special lady
and she makes me glad
that I was priviledged to
have her in my life. I will
treasure her memories
all of my days and she
will be missed always.
My prayers and thoughts
are with her family at this
very difficult time.
