Lobosco, Michael J. of Totowa at rest in Totowa on June 11, 2006. Beloved husband of the former Liana Chiaradia. Father of Louis Lobosco and his wife Joanne, John Lobosco and his wife Lisa, Anthony Lobosco and his wife Stacy, Annette De Vito and her husband Charles, Rena Prendergast and her husband Colm, Claire Posluszny and her husband Robert, Gloria Sandilands and her husband Robert, Paula Kabrel and her husband Scott and Theresa Van Sickle and her husband Robert. Brother of Rose Riley, Anthony Lobosco and the late Roy Lobosco and the late Jean Marino. Also surviving are 23 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Cremation will be private at the request and convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Born in Sala Consolina, Italy he came to the U.S.A. in 1921 settling in Paterson before moving to Totowa 48 years ago. He was an Insurance Agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Clifton, N.J. for many years before retiring in 1981. Mr. Lobosco was a member and Past President of the Bergen County Laryngectomee Association, Wyckoff, N.J. He was Secretary/Treasurer of the Lobosco Association, Paterson, N.J. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and a past member of the Holy Name Society there. He was a WW II Army Veteran. He was a Quarter Master of the V.F.W. Totowa Post # 10104 for 27 years. Mr. Lobosco lectured at many schools talking to students about the dangers of smoking for about 12 years. Preceeding him in death was: A brother, Roy Lobosco and a sister, Jean Marino. Survivors include his wife: The former Liana Chiaradia of Totowa, N.J. 3 sons: Louis Lobosco of Spring Lake Heights, N.J. John Lobosco of Succasunna, NJ. Anthony Lobosco of West Paterson, N.J. 6 daughters: Annette De Vito of Wayne, N.J. Rena Prendergast of Cambridge, Mass. Claire Posluszny of Wall Township, N.J. Gloria Sandilands of Wayne, N.J. Paula Kabrel of Hawthorne, NJ. Theresa Van Sickle of Ridgewood, N.J. A sister: Rose Riley of Lincoln Park, N.J. A brother: Anthony Lobosco of Paterson, N.J.
