Adoring grandfather of Angel, Julio, Roberto, and Ronnie. Doting great-grandfather of Jacob, Renzo, and Angelo. Dear son of the late Antonio and the late Ricarda (nee Acevedo) Garcia. Brother of Ramona, Victor, Olga, Luz, Maria, Ricardo, William, Ana, Elizabeth, Rafael, Luis, the late Ruben, the late Carmen, the late Aida, and the late Manuel Antonio. Born in Puerto Rico, he lived there for 20 years before coming to the mainland and settling in Paterson. He relocated to Chicago where he worked as a track inspector for the Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago for 23 years before retiring and moving back to Paterson in 2022. Severiano loved to play dominoes. He was in a club based out of IL and they traveled all over the United States and to Puerto Rico to attend competitions. He was a domino champion. He also loved cars and playing the lottery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Interment on Thursday at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit Wednesday 5-7 PM.
