Obituary of Dalcy Del Carmen Ramirez Carrascal

In Loving Memory of Dalcy Del Carmen Ramirez Carrascal age 68, of Paterson, NJ who Passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Manuel Ramirez and a loving mother to Ingrid Jimenez and her husband Gabriel, Lissette Ramirez and Jessica Ramirez-Taveras and her husband John. Dalcy was the adoring grandmother of Adrian Jimenez, Andres Jimenez, and Gabriela Jimenez, and the dear daughter of Petronila Morales and the late Pablo Carrascal. Dalcy was also a loving "grandmother" to her two grand-pups, Oliver Jimenez and Pablo Taveras. Born in Colombia, she lived there until 1980 before relocating to the United States, where she settled in Paterson. Dalcy worked as a Home Health Aide for Bayada Home Care before retiring in 2020. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Dalcy dedicated much of her life to caring for her loved ones. She was also an active member of her church, volunteering much of her time to support its community. Dalcy will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wake at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
