Loving father of Joseph Penna and his wife Cathy of Totowa, Teresa Davis and her husband Tim of Easton, PA, Madeline Gmahle and her husband Tom of Alpharetta, GA, and Lucy Glacken and her husband Gary of Randolph. Adoring grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear son of the late Giuseppe and the late Teresa (nee Marsilla) Penna. Brother of Angelina Gallo, Sebastiano Penna, Rosalia Damante, Lucia Russo, and Carmela Marangolo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Scoglitti, Prov. di Ragusa Sicily, Italy, he lived in Italy for 29 years before immigrating to the United States. Upon his arrival he resided in Paterson, before settling in Totowa over 37 years ago. He retired from Marijon Dyeing & Finishing, East Rutherford in 1998. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Sunday from 2-6 PM. All are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
