Dear cousin of Jacqueline Spagnola, Anthony Spagnola, III, John Spagnola, Damon Spagnola and several others. Uncle of Tamra MacDonald, Samantha Spagnola and Anthony Spagnola, IV. Special friend of Jorge Gonzalez and Angela Paiccione. Born in Paterson, he lived most of his life in New Jersey and New York. He was an Editor and Graphic Designer for Forbes Magazine, NYC for many years before retiring. James was a kind-hearted and passionate man who deeply loved his family and friends. His unwavering faith in God served as the foundation for the way he lived his life. A gifted videographer and photographer, James had a passion for capturing moments that turned into cherished memories for his loved ones. Whether behind the lens of his camera or with a video camera in hand, James' artistic eye and attention to detail created beautiful legacies that will be treasured forever. James' work went far beyond photography and videography; it was his way of expressing love and preserving the joy and beauty in life. James was also committed to giving back to his community. He spent many hours volunteering at the New York Foundling Hospital and Times Square Church, even singing in their choir. He had a strong belief in the importance of service and having compassion for people in need. His dedication reflected his loving and generous spirit. James' love for his family, his unwavering faith, and his desire to serve others shaped the way he lived each day. His legacy will live on through the countless memories he left for his family and friends as well as those lives he touched. James will always be remembered for the beauty he captured, the love he gave, and the lasting memories he leaves behind. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
