Ciandella, Vincent J "Vinnie" born December 24, 1947, age 76 of Totowa, peacefully called to the arms of Jesus on December 8, 2024. Loving husband of fifty three years to the former Lorraine Caroli of Totowa. Devoted father to Michele Conforti and her boyfriend Lorenzo Vespucci of Fairfield and Dina Ciandella and her husband Jesse Byrd of Rogersville, MO. Dear grandfather of Lia Conforti and Vincent Conforti. Brother of Virginia Foster, Mary Abate, Anna Ciani and the late Carmine Ciandella, the late Theresa Di Nardo, the late Victor Ciandella and the late Florence Brown. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Jersey City, then in Rutherford, where he raised his family with his loving wife Lorraine before moving to Totowa twenty years ago. Vinnie was a successful businessman. He was Owner/proprietor of V&L Sales, Inc., operating in Bellville since 1982 and his customers fondly remember his many sales calls throughout the years. He was truly loved by many good friends and shared many wonderful times with his family and friends such as traveling to Aruba and going out to dinner. He loved to eat chocolate and hot dogs. He loved the New York Yankees. Vinnie was an all around great guy and his family always came first as he cherished any time spent with them, especially his grandchildren. He was a faithful member of the Roman Catholic Church, presently a parishioner of St. James of the Marches in Totowa. May he always be remembered with tender hearts by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 10:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James of the Marches R.C. Church, Totowa at 11:15 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington.
