O'Neill, Edward David age 74 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on November 6, 2024. Beloved husband of the Marie (nee Menchaca) O'Neill. Loving father of Diane Ashmen and her husband Dan of Erial, and Dave O'Neill of New Hampshire. Adoring grandfather of Alyssa Ashmen, Matthew O'Neill, and Ryan O'Neill. Dear brother of Raymond O'Neill and his wife Maria of Totowa, and the late Thomas O'Neill (2010). Uncle of Ray O'Neill, Anthony O'Neill, and Tiffany Skomro. Born and raised in Paterson, he lived in Little Falls for 10 years before moving to Totowa in 1987. He was a Draftsman for BAE Systems, Totowa, for 47 years before retiring in 2017. Mr. O'Neill was an avid bowler with 69 sanctioned perfect games and even more that weren't. He is an inductee of the Passaic County Bowling Hall of Fame. He has a room full of trophies and medals to show for it. Ed was also a United States Army veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 12:00 PM. Friends may visit Saturday 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Cremation will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society and/or Autism Speaks.
