Loving mother of Karen Barbieri (husband Richard) of Cedar Grove, Samuel Zalfa, Jr. (wife Gail) of Colora, MD, Cheryl Clerico (husband Dr. Dean) of Shavertown, PA, and Danelle Evans (husband Dr. Mark) of Dallas, PA. Dear grandmother of Christopher (wife Angela), Michael (wife Caitlin), Laura (fiancé Dave), Matthew (wife Nicole), Laura (husband Joel), Jeffrey (wife Stephanie), Samia, John Paul, Nina, Daniel, Gianna, and Jeremy. Adoring great-grandmother of Madison, Riley, Lucas, Samuel, Leah, Amelia, Charlie, Naomi, Isaac, Cole, and Isabel. Born and raised in Paterson she lived in Wayne for the last 40 years. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Zalfa was a member of the American Legion Post 438 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Sacred Heart Women's Organization. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls on Friday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit at Sacred Heart on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
