Cunza Garcia, Manuel Donato age 88 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 1, 2024. Loving father of Daniel Cunza of Woodbridge, Jessica Oxendine & her husband, Ret. Col. Christopher Oxendine of Vienna, VA and Priscilla Cunza-Marin & her husband, Christopher Bos of Ocean. Caring grandfather of Charlie Oxendine, Yanela Oxendine, Jhoan Oxendine and Leonela Oxendine. Dear brother of Delina Cunza and the late Teodorico Cunza, Delia Cunza, and Miguel Cunza. Beloved uncle to a large family in Peru, including Lourdes Coronado Mata and her children and grandchildren. Born in Chacas, Peru, he came to the United States in 1986 and resided in Paterson. Manuel was a Certified Accountant in Peru. After coming to the United States, he was a custodian for DePaul High School, Wayne, then worked at various factories well into his 70's before retiring. He was very active with the Peruvian - American community in Paterson, leading many fundraisers for his hometown in Peru.He was a founding member of the Peruvian American Congress of NJ and also a member of the Asociacion Ancash Peru NJ USA, Inc.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd. on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Cremation was private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to: The Children of Peru.
