Earl, Eugene "Gene" O. age 85 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on October 7, 2024. Beloved husband of 59 years to the former Cesarina (nee Augusto) Earl of Totowa. Loving father of Adrienne DaGraca & her husband Paul of Bridgewater and the late Douglas Earl (2022). Dear father-in-law of Cathie Liborio Earl of CT. Devoted grandfather of David DaGraca and Matthew DaGraca. Beloved brother of Wilson Earl of NH, George Earl of NH, and Margie Newcomb of NH. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Winnie V. Born in Bristol, CT, he lived in Totowa for most of his life. Gene was a graduate of Meredith High School, Meredith, NH and Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Picatinny Arsenal, Dover for many years before retiring in 2004. Prior to that, he worked for Texaco Corp. He loved the outdoors, boating, and spending time at the lakes in New Hampshire. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, being with his family, and his beloved dog, Winnie V. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or the ASPCA.
