Obituary of Ellen Marie Stephens

Stephens, Ellen Marie (nee Brady) age 76 of Clifton at rest in Bloomfield on September 30, 2024. Beloved sister of Patrick Brady and his wife Norma of Paterson. Loving aunt of Patrick Brady, Colin Brady, Dennis Sullivan, Rae Lyn Sullivan and Caryn Sullivan, all of Highland Lakes. Born in Paterson, Ellen lived in Paterson before moving to Clifton. She was an Assistant Manager for New Jersey Bell, Clifton, for thirty years before retiring in 1995. Ellen was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Paterson. She loved the Jersey Shore as well as "oldies" music, especially Barry Manilow. Ellen truly loved all dogs and she would walk through the neighborhood and feed all of the local dogs cookies. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Donations in Ellen's memory may be made to the North Shore Animal League, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
