Funk, Ann Smith (nee Lamping) of Wayne at rest in Wayne on May 7, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Harold J. Funk and the late William Smith. Mother of Robert Smith, Roger Smith, James Smith, Dena Gawley and the late William Smith. Sister of Margaret Dey. Grandmother of 19 grandchildren and the late William Smith. OBITUARY Ann Smith (nee Lamping) Funk age 89 of Wayne died Sunday. Born in Long Island, NY she lived most of her life in Paterson. She was a LPN for Preakness Hospital, Wayne, NJ before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ and a member of its Senior Citizens Club. Preceeding her in death was her 1st husband: William Smith, her 2nd husband: Harold J. Funk, her son: William Smith, and her grandson: William Smith Survivors include: 3 sons: Robert Smith of Wayne, NJ, Roger Smith of Pompton Lakes, NJ, James Smith of Wayne, NJ A daughter: Dena Gawley of Wall Twsp., NJ A sister: Margaret Dey of Clifton, NJ Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
