Obituary of Raymond N. Torres

Torres, Raymond N. age 85 of Marlboro at rest in Marlboro on September 2, 2024. Beloved husband of his first deceased wife, Elizabeth (nee Trotz) Torres (2013). Loving husband of Mary (nee Romei) Agnes Torres. Dear father of Raymond Torres and his late spouse Mary Alice, Kevin Torres and his spouse, Mary, Craig Torres and his spouse, Jennifer, and the late Jeffrey Torres. Step-father of Joseph Agnes and Stephanie Forde. Also survived by eight grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters. Born in Johnstown, PA, he lived most of his life in Totowa, before moving to Marlboro. He was a Chemical Supervisor for Hoffman LaRoche, Nutley for many years before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church and a Eucharistic Minister there. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. James of the Marches, Council #6574 Totowa and a 4th Degree member of the Msgr. Stein Assembly, Little Falls. Raymond was also a U.S. Navy veteran. He had a special relationship with his granddaughter, Diana Torres. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4-8 PM.
