Obituary of Butch . Keating

Keating, Butch age 74 of Hawthorne at rest in Paterson on August 24, 2024. Beloved husband of the late and former Maureen Fossacreta (2002). Loving father of Patrick Keating and his wife Francie of Woodland Park. Dear grandfather of Sean Keating and Kayleigh Keating. Brother of Kathy Andreano and her husband Jim of Little Falls and the late Michael Keating (1978). Also surviving are three nephews, Matt, Joe and Kevin Andreano. Born in Paterson, he has lived in Hawthorne for the past thirty years. Butch was a Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office, Fair Lawn, for thirty-two years before retiring in 2005. Butch was an avid Rolling Stones fan. His passion was going to rock concerts. He was an all-around sports enthusiast and a fan of the LA Dodgers, Indianapolis Colts, and NASCAR. He also ran marathons for many years. However, his greatest passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who lovingly called him "Gramps". Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
