Larry "Duff" ls an absolute treasure of a man with a heart of GOLD. I was proud to call him a friend. He is a person whom we should all emulate. He was a mentor to the kids of Paterson and sponsored his teams "Duffy's Boy's" for decades. A true patriot to his country, his career at the PCSD was phenomenal. A friend to all and a leader in our community. He will be missed and never forgotten. RIP DUFFY.

God bless Larry Duffy. One of the most caring people in Paterson. He always delivered the Flag Salute at Congressman Bill Pascrell's events. We coached Duffy's Boys together until it became Rendina AC in the 70's. But, Duffy showed up at practice to make sure I was doing the job right. RIP. Larry, you will be missed.

Monsignor Duffy, as he liked to be called, is a Paterson icon. He touch the lives of so many, with his humor, his kindness, generosity and his energy. He was so proud, as he should have been, with his sponsoring of many teams in Paterson. Duffy’s Boys gave so many kids a chance to play sports and stay off the streets. He was proud of that. It’s hard to imagine a world without Larry Duffy in it. His robust humor and passion for kids and baseball will always burn. He added so much to Paterson, If anyone deserves a statue it is Duffy. Preferably next to Lou Costello’s statue. Preferably one depicting him standing on his head. He would have liked that. Rest in peace, Duff. You were loved. You can be proud.

May you Rest In Peace Mr. Duffy. Thank You for all your contributions to the youth of Paterson. Your generosity in sponsoring the Duffy Boys baseball teams in the POTYBL for over 45 years is a record that won’t be broken. I have memories of the talks we had at the field and you would always say it’s about the kids and giving them an opportunity to stay active in sports. Prayers for you sir and the family. A Great Life Lived !!!!!

RIP Mr Larry Duffy. I have so many cherished memories of time spent together. Whether you were a sponser of Duffy Boys when I was a OTML Baseball player, then a coach of Gorgas in OTML and then part of the DBT Baseball coaching staff. IT was always a fun (sometimes hilarious) and memorable experience. You were one of those individuals that come into your life, that you never forget. Thank you for all that you achived in life and the lives that you touched with your generosity. On a side note, if you can somehow send me a tip on winning horse, it would be greatly appriciated. Condolances to your family and your many friends (fans).
