Adrienne Bottomley (Andriani) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, July 15th. She was 82 years old. She was born June 12, 1942 in Queens, NY to Charles and Frances (Florio) Andriani. Adrienne grew up in Fair Lawn and Wyckoff, NJ and graduated in 1960 from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes. She received her Associate's degree from Marjorie Webster Junior College in Washington, DC and her Bachelor's degree in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. She was a high school teacher for more than 30 years, teaching keyboarding and several business courses including accounting and business law. She was head of the business education department for several years at the Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest. She was a fair and compassionate educator who truly loved teaching, touching the lives of countless students over her long career. Adrienne was a member of St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church for several decades of her life while growing up in Wyckoff, and then residing in Franklin Lakes, where she lovingly and tirelessly raised her two children together with her husband, James. After retiring, she spent some of her happiest years in Harwich, Massachusetts, where she enjoyed swimming and going to the beach with a good book and her Golden Retriever, Shellsea, one of the many dogs she had during her life. She was an avid animal lover. In 2016, she moved back to New Jersey to be closer to her family, which was the most important part of her life. She was an integral part of her adult children's and grandchildren's lives, especially her grandson, Evander, whom she often referred to as her "greatest joy". Adrienne was loving and selfless her whole life, and she will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to be loved by her. She is survived by her husband, James Bottomley; her son Scott Bottomley and daughter-in-law, Deborah; her daughter Jill Bottomley and daughter-in-law, Kathryn Jones; her grandchildren Evander Jones Bottomley; Stacey Strover; Courtney Strover; Ryan Strover and his spouse, Rachael; her great-grandson, Salvatore Strover; her brother Ronald Andriani and sister-in-law, Joan; her nieces Nancy Buckman and spouse Michael; Lynn Andriani and spouse Andrew Albanese; Laura Andriani and spouse Kathleen Curcio; and her nephew James Elsner and spouse Susan.
