Krapels, Lorraine H. (nee Braun) age 95 of Woodland Park at rest in Woodland Park on July 7, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Harold Krapels (1997). Loving mother of Glenn Krapels and his wife Patti of Woodland Park and Kim Conner and her husband Larry of Sparta. Dear grandmother of Ashley Diercksen and her husband David, Trevor Krapels, Blake Krapels, Chad Conner and his wife Alexa, Scott Conner and his wife Sandra, and Taylor Coldwater and her husband Dalton. Adoring great-grandmother of Zoey, Cole, Madison, Olivia, Reese, and Grant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Jersey City, she lived in Union City before moving to Woodland Park. She was a caretaker for many years before retiring. Mrs. Krapels was a member of the Woodland Park Seniors and the Young at Heart Seniors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends may visit Wednesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Special Olympics would be appreciated.
