Emolo, Sr., Frank "Butch" age 97 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on June 19, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Rose M. (nee Rago) Emolo (2020). Loving father of Frank Emolo, Jr., Patricia De Blasio and her husband Mark and Robert Emolo and his wife Denise. Dear brother of the late John, Nick, Joe and Tom Emolo. Grandfather of Dayna Bergen and her husband Matthew, Sean De Blasio and his wife Kelly, Caitlin De Blasio, Robert Emolo, Patrick Emolo and Jared Emolo. Great-grandfather of Liam and Ella Rose. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong city resident. He was the co-owner with his wife of Park Avenue Liquors, Paterson, for many years before retiring. He played for St. Michaels CYO League and was number 99. Butch was an avid Yankees and Jets fan and was an athlete in his own right. He played for five softball teams in his youth all at the same time. He had an incredible sense of humor and was the best storyteller. He would laugh and have everyone laughing the whole way through. Butch was a generous and loving man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 11:30 AM. Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Monday 10:00-11:00 AM.
