Obituary of Simona Cruz Morales

Cruz Morales, Simona age 83 of Paterson, NJ at rest in Woonsocket, RI on May 15, 2024. Loving mother of Nelly Morales Cusson and her husband Steven of RI, Margie Morales Conley and her husband Philip of RI, Rosita Morales of Paterson, Roberto Morales and his wife Antoinette Clark Morales of Paterson, Daniel Morales and his late wife Amarilys of RI, and the late Jose Luis Morales. Dear daughter of the late Regino and the late Daniela Matos Cruz. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband, the late Luis Morales. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico she lived in Puerto Rico for 18 years before coming to the mainland and settling in Paterson, before moving to Rhode Island 3½ years ago. She was an assembly line worker for Vanguard Plastics, Wayne, for 18 years before retiring. Mrs. Cruz Morales loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and going to floral nurseries to look at flowers. Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. Funeral Service will be Monday, May 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa.
