Michienzi, Leone Leo of Paterson passed peacefully into Gods arms on April 16, 2006. Beloved uncle of Janice M. Reda and her husband Artie, Audrey M. Harnett and her husband Ken, Charles D. Pezzano, Arnold Pezzano and his wife Evelyn and Russell Pezzano and his wife Sophie. Brother of the late Thomas Mickinze, Helen Pezzano, Katherine Bellarmino and Elizabeth Sinatora. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, 70 Murray Avenue, Paterson, N.J. 07501 would be appreciated. For more information go to www.festamemorial.com. OBITUARY Leo Michienzi age 86 of Paterson died Sunday. Born in Paterson, N.J. he lived in Paterson lifelong. He was a Truck Driver/Shop Steward for Franklin Contractors, Little Falls, N.J. Prior to that he was a Partner with Michienzi Oil Co., Paterson, N.J. for many years. Mr. Michienzi was a veteran of the Civilian Conservation Corps and was also a WW II Army veteran. He was an avid bowler and softball player. He was involved in numerous local leagues. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson. He was also an avid gardener which earned him the nickname: Leo Tomatoes. Preceeding him in death was: His brother: Thomas Mickinze 3 sisters: Helen Pezzano Katherine Bellarmino Elizabeth Sinatora Survivors include: 2 nieces: Janice M. Reda of Sparta, N.J. Audrey M. Harnett of Rockport, Mass. 3 nephews: Charles D. Pezzano of Clifton, N.J. Arnold Pezzano of Maryland Russell Pezzano of Haskell, Wanaque Twsp., N.J. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
