Babilonia, Carmen Sofia (nee Barrios), age 94 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on March 4, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Juan E. Babilonia (2005). Loving mother of Victor Babilonia and his wife Betty of Florida, Ramon Babilonia and his wife Carol of California, Wilson Babilonia and his wife Jacqueline of Cedar Grove, Rafael Babilonia and his wife Paula of California, Hector Babilonia and his wife Margarita of Fair Lawn, Mery Gonzalez Rubio and her husband Rafael of Colombia, Juana Babilonia of Totowa, Adalgisa Toro and her husband Sergio of Totowa, and the late Ruth Babilonia. Dear daughter of the late Manuel and the late Maria (nee Osorio) Barrios. Grandmother of 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Born in San Juan, Colombia she lived in Colombia until 1975 before moving to Totowa in 2003. She was an employee for Safilo USA, Fairfield, for 16 years before retiring in 1988. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 5-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Society of America, would be appreciated.
