Adoring grandfather of Israel Silva, Alyssa Silva, Tiffany Silva, Natalie Silva, Tiana Alvarez, Joshua Alvarez, Deannie Rodriguez, Christian Reyes, Alexander Reyes, Brian Reyes, Cynthia Rosario, Leilani Griffin, Lovelle Russell, Lennix Torres, Joel Torres, Abrian Rivas, and Savannah Redner. Doting great-grandfather of 19 great-grandchildren. Dear son of the late Gerardo and the late Carmen (nee Vargas) Silva. Loving brother of Sonia Silva and Ofelia Silva. Born in Puerto Rico, he lived in Puerto Rico for 18 years before coming to the mainland in 1964 and residing in Paterson. He was an employee for Coronet Lighting, Totowa, for 27 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
