Obituary of Maria Johnstone

Johnstone, Maria (nee Fernicola), age 93 of Emerson at rest in Emerson on February 28, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Harold Johnstone (2004). Loving mother of Laura of California, Clifford of Georgia, Stephen of Pennsylvania, Susan of New York City, Michael of Texas, and Katherine of New Jersey. Dear daughter of the late Carmen and the late Anna (nee Morea) Fernicola. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. Born in Bronx, NY she lived in Bergen County, NJ most of her life before moving to Emerson. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Johnstone was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
