Jurusz, Maria (nee Zyrowicka) of West Paterson at rest peacefully in West Paterson on April 13, 2006 after a long courageous battle against myasthenia gravis and duodenal tumor. Beloved wife of the late Jan Jurusz. Mother of Mira Jurusz, Zofia Fidel and Helena De La Paz and her husband Nelson. Grandmother of Melissa Opalka, Chris Fidel, Zackarie De La Paz, Marysia Jurusz and Tiffany De La Paz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 8:30 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:00 A.M. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Friends may call Monday 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. OBITUARY
Maria (nee Zyrowicka) Jurusz age 83 of West Paterson died Thursday. Born in Jeziornica, Poland she came to the United States in 1964 and resided in North Arlington before moving to West Paterson 20 years ago. She was a seamstress for several different companoies in the lyndhurst area for many years before retiring 21 years ago. Mrs. Jurusz was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson. She was also a member of the West Paterson Senior Citizens, West Paterson. Preceeding her in death was her husband: Jan Jurusz.

Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 son-in-law.
