Schaublin, Robert age 91 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on December 22, 2023. Beloved husband of Josephine (nee Martorano) Schaublin. Loving father of Steven Schaublin and his wife Linda, David Schaublin and his wife Lisa, Edward J. Schaublin, Deborah Maas and her husband Daniel and Elaine Allen and her husband, Edward. Grandfather of Sandra Lee, Scott, Carly, Daniel, Debra, Diana, Edward III and the late William. Great-grandfather of Kali Dean, Brynn and Ian. Brother of Richard Schaublin. Born in Elmwood Park, he lived in Elmwood Park, then Paterson for many years before moving to Wayne ten years ago. He was a DPW Employee for the Shade Tree Division for the City of Paterson, for forty-seven ½ years, before retiring. He was also the owner of Shaublin's Tree Service. Robert was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a former member of the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge #2111, Totowa. He was also a member of the American Legion and belonged to the Coin Collectors Numismatic Association. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 12:00 PM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 3-7 PM.
