Obituary of M. Douglas Gioia

Gioia, M. Douglas age 80 of Lincoln Park at rest in Paterson on December 18, 2023. Beloved father of Michael Gioia of Glenwood, NJ., Dante Gioia and his wife Jeannett of Mountainside, NJ., Adam Gioia and his wife Carol of Warren, NJ,. and the late Matthew Gioia (1993). Loving grandfather of Autumn Gioia, Skye Gioia, Julianna Gioia, Dante Gioia, Cristian Gioia, Marcello Gioia and Jasmine Gioia. Dear brother of Marilyn Gioia of Lincoln Park, NJ. Former husband of Barbara Gioia of Warren, NJ. Born in Passaic, he lived in Passaic, then in Paterson and Clifton before moving to Lincoln Park thirty years ago. Douglas was a Graphic Artist in New York City for many years before retiring in 2005. He was an avid reader. He loved being a Graphic Artist and he loved Photography. Douglas was also a great cook. Cremation will be private at the request of the family. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday from 4-8 PM with a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa.
