Loving father of Monika Waker, Reginald Waker, Jacolby Waker and Nicolette Waker. Dear son of the late Albert and the late Zola (nee Jones) Waker. Brother of Claudia Jones and the late Ruby Jones. Grandfather of Jah'shawn, Ajahnae, Jabrayden, Micah and Kaylani. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, he lived in New Orleans, for twenty years before moving to New Jersey. He was an Instructional Assistant for Paterson Public Schools for many years. Mr. Waker was an Army veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to viewing hours on Thursday 4-8 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. Cremation is private at the request of the family.
