Obituary of Joseph L. Brady

Brady, Joseph L., age 69 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on December 4, 2023. Beloved husband of the former Nancy Hewitt. Loving father of Danielle Cardona & her husband Andres of Totowa, Allison O'Brien & her husband Patrick of Bloomingdale, Ashley Brady of Bloomingdale, and Steven Brady of Totowa. Devoted grandfather of Rae Whetham, Owen Whetham and Parker O'Brien. Dear brother of Dorothy Ann Brady, Kathleen LaBarck, Theresa Tiller and Maureen Fiore. Born in Paterson, he grew up in Paterson, and has resided in Totowa since 1986. He was a Service Technician for Roberts & Son, Garfield for 15 years before retiring in 2016, prior to that he worked for Denman & Davis, Paterson for 15 years. Joseph was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church and was an usher there for many years. He loved spending time in Cape May and worked for the early morning maintenance at the Cape May Department of Public Works and as a maintenance technician for Sun Retreats. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society P.O.
