Gaeta, Lauren (nee Haggar), age 59 of Toms River, formerly of Totowa, at rest in Toms River on November 17, 2023. Beloved wife of Salvatore Gaeta, Jr. of Toms River. Loving mother of Kelsey O'Gorman and Erin O'Gorman, both of Toms River. Dear step mother of Erica Gaeta of Morristown and Matthew Gaeta of PA. Dear daughter of the late Theodore and the late Phyllis (nee Civitello) Haggar. Loving sister of Donna Otto and her husband Chris of Palm Coast, FL., Shauna Brown of Richmond, VA., and the late Howla Sweeney (2004). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and her beloved pet dogs, Mugsy, Dunkin and Cinnamon. Born in Pequannock Twp., she lived most of her life in Totowa before moving to Toms River three years ago. Lauren loved being on the bay and people watching on the boardwalk. She was an avid flea market flipper and garage sale hopper, always looking for a good bargain or deal. But her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. "We will see you in Italy" Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 6:30 PM. Friends may visit on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 4:00PM - 7:00 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to offset funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
