Obituary of Gertrudes Osis

Osis, Gertrudes age 67 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 1, 2023. Beloved wife of Adolfo Serpa. Loving mother of Sara Castro & her husband, Ceasar, Cesar Serpa & his wife, Jessica and Gustavo Serpa & his wife Blanca. Dear daughter of Primitiva Alarcon and the late Ignacio Osis. Grandmother of Adrian Castro, Christian Serpa, Lilliana Serpa and Nicholas Serpa. Also survived by her seven siblings. Born in Lima, Peru, she came to the United States in 1989 and resided in Paterson. She was a School Bus Driver for First Student, Lincoln Park, for many years. Gertrudes was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park and was very involved with the community there. She was also a Eucharistic Minister there and a parishioner leader, who led the first event for the Senor De Los Milagros. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM.
