Garrity, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" (nee Minchin), age 97 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on October 29, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Christopher Garrity (2003). Loving mother Christopher Garrity of Carmel, NY, John Garrity & his wife, Louise of Brick, Maryann Kaczorowski & her husband Andrew of Hamilton, Frank Garrity of Lithicum Heights, MD, Kathleen Sowa of Totowa and the late Robert Garrity (1998). Dear mother-in-law of Donna Garrity of Rockaway. Survivors include 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson, before moving to Totowa in 1985. Betty was a homemaker.She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson and was a member of their Rosarians. She also used to run their kitchen and finances for their BINGO. She was a very active parishioner. Betty loved to crochet and attend ceramic class. She also loved watching her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's R.C. Church, 410 Union Avenue, Paterson, NJ 07502, would be appreciated.
