Saoud, Monique Marie (nee Ekmekjian), age 40 of Little Falls at rest in New York City on October 17, 2023. Beloved wife of Aref Saoud of Little Falls. Adoring mother of Leah and Joseph Saoud of Little Falls. Dear daughter of Leila (nee Haddad) Ekmekjian. Loving sister of Suzan Gabaris and her husband Steven of Astoria, NY. Born in Astoria, she lived there for 32 years before moving to Little Falls. She was a Budget Manager for the Ford Foundation, NYC, for the last 20 years. Monique loved her family and always put them first. She loved her religion and enjoyed eating sushi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from St. Ann's Melkite Catholic Church, 802 Rifle Camp Rd. Woodland Park, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit St. Ann's Melkite Catholic Church on Sunday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, would be appreciated.
