Obituary of Catherine T. Angelo

Angelo, Catherine T (nee Engel), age 86 of Wayne at rest in Paterson on October 19, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Dominic Angelo. Loving mother of Christopher Angelo, JeanMarie Fusco and her husband Mark, Patricia Passaglia and her husband Carl, and Richard Angelo and his wife Melissa. Dear grandmother of Marc and his wife Susi, Eric, Steven and his wife Toni, and Lauren Passaglia.  Doting great-grandmother of Alex Passaglia. Loving sister of Genevieve Flynn, Loretta Hogan, Patricia Mullins, and James Engel. Born in Bronx, NY she lived in Inwood for 30 years, then in Haverstraw, NY for 6 years, then New City, NY until 1992, then Florida for 15 years before recently moving to Wayne. She was the manager for PNC Bank, West Paterson before retiring. Mrs. Angelo loved to read, play bingo, and watch sports. She was a big Yankee fan and loved watching baseball. She also loved to go out to eat. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit Friday 12- 4 PM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
