Obituary of George Louridas

Louridas, George age 88 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on October 17, 2023. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Barbara Ann (nee Dabal) Louridas (7/19/23). Loving father of Laura Luizzi & her husband Martin of Cedar Grove, Michael Louridas & his wife Jeanette and their family and the late George Louridas (1981). Beloved grandfather of Jordyn and Kailyn. Brother of the late Gus Louridas, James Louridas, Helen Cave, Celia Little, John Louridas, and Paul Louridas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa the past 52 years. George was a Postman for the Totowa Post Office for over 20 years, after that, he was a Bus Driver for the Wayne Board of Education for over 20 years before retiring 2 years ago. George was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to casinos. He was a big Yankee Fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment at to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
