Obituary of Jane E Mych

Mych, Jane E. "Janie" (nee Whalen), age 87 of Paterson was called to the Lord on October 10, 2023. She was born on January 28, 1936 in Paterson to the late Harold and Ellen Whalen of Irish and Dutch descent. She was a lifelong city resident. Beloved wife of twenty years to the late Walter "Harry" Mych (2008). Survivors include her beloved pet dog, Tara and friends. She graduated from St. Mary High School and entered and graduated from Flight Attendant training for Eastern Airlines in 1954. She was the Supervisor of In-Flight Services, which entailed extensive travel for many years. She then worked for Chase Bank before retiring in 1998. She flew Eastern Airlines last Constellation flight on the air-shuttle in February 1968. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday October 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations to the ASPCA would be appreciated.
