To all that knew the Penotti Family, they know of the open home and the open hearts of Bob, Betty and their children. We all have fond memories of all of them, memories too many to recount here in this tribute. I cannot ever remember ringing the doorbell at the Penotti house - either the door was always open or anyone could just walk in. This was much like the rest of the family - as a friend - new or old - their home was yours, their supper table always had an extra place or two for others and there was never a time when the house was ever quiet - full of laughter, talking, arguing in good spirit and especially of love. Bob and Betty made it that way. Now, with the passing of Betty, there is a large hole in those memories "up at 27s" which I always thought was the Penotti backyard. Thank you Betty for being the heart of that home, the guiding spirit of that family and that devoted woman to whom many could set as an example of a life worth living.
