Barry, Julia (nee Brassil) age 87 of Teaneck at rest in Saddle River on September 11, 2023. Beloved wife of Robert T. Barry of Teaneck. Loving mother of Robert C. Barry & his fiancee, Kathleen Luyster of Elmwood Park and William E. Barry & his wife, Daria of Rhinebeck, NY. Dear grandmother of Robert J. Barry, Hannah Barry, Emma Barry and Jack Barry. Julia was preceded in death by her siblings, James Brassil, Josephine Inderseck, and Janet Brassil.

Born in New York City, New York, she lived in Monroe, New York for a short time after she got married, and has resided in Teaneck, New Jersey for the past 50 years. After she raised her children, Julia went back to school and graduated from Holy Name School of Nursing, then worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck before retiring. Julia was also a poet. Cremation was private at the request of the family. Arrangements are by Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, New Jersey 07512.
