Obituary of Angelo Curcio

Curcio, Angelo age 68 of Totowa at rest in New York, N.Y. on August 19, 2023. Beloved husband of seventeen years to Tereza Tunic Curcio of Totowa. Loving father of Isabella Curcio, Antonio Curcio and John Curcio, all of Totowa. Dear brother of Raffaela Ferraro and her husband Sam of Totowa. Uncle of Christina Ferraro-Dhuyvetter and her husband Jeffrey of Wayne as well as many extended relatives and friends. Born in Polla, Prov. di Salerno, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1967 settling in Paterson before moving to Totowa fifty years ago. He was the owner/proprietor and Chef of  Bogey's Sports Bar, Clifton, for many years before retiring in 2018. Angelo was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was an avid fan and enjoyed playing golf. He was also an avid soccer fan. He enjoyed traveling, especially back to Italy. He liked the Jersey shore. He was a NY Giants fan. He made homemade wine and used his culinary skills at home. He liked exotic cars. Angelo loved and admired the unity of his marriage and cherished his children. He loved having family at the holidays. He was the most honest and calm man and was a beacon of light to all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday, Aug.26, 2023 at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday, August, 25, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
