Abate, Ottaviano age 84 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on August 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Marcella (nee Cammarata) Abate. Dear brother of Giuseppe Abate. Brother-in-law of Salvatore Cammarata and Fabrizio Cammarata. Born in Castellana Sicula, Prov. di Palermo, Sicily, Italy, he came to the United States in 1959 and resided in Paterson, before moving to Wayne. He was a construction worker for several companies in the Passaic County area for many years before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 11:30 AM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Saturday 10:00-11:00 AM.
