Obituary of Andrew G Alesso

Alesso, Andrew G. age 88 at rest in Morristown on August 9, 2023. Dear son of the late Edward and the late Mary (nee San Filippo) Alesso. Brother of the late Josephine "Cookie" Rowbotham and the late Frank Alesso. Dear uncle of Lori Rowbotham of Clifton, Frank Alesso (Trish) of Passaic, Richard Rowbotham of Clifton and Edward Rowbotham (Lisa) of Wayne. Grand uncle of Austin, Evan, and Roman. Born in Passaic, he lived in Passaic, before moving to Clifton where he lived for 20 years. Andy was employed at Presto Lock Co., Garfield before retiring. Uncle Andy took pride in being the wisecracker of the family.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's RC Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn 38105 would be appreciated.
